Filippo Licitra and Riccardo Farabegoli have created the shop in 2015. Gelato Davvero can now be found in several locations around Lisbon, including in the São Bento area, and Cais do Sodré. Santini is considered the most popular ice-cream location for many locals in Portugal. The shop was founded in 1949 in Cascais by Atillio Santini. Nowadays, Santini has opened various shops all around the country, mainly in Lisbon and Porto. Each shop serves an unlimited number of artisanal flavors, with all of them being 100% natural and prepared without artificial coloring. Santini is known for its fruity and fresh flavors, such as raspberry, strawberry, mango, and orange. However, chocolate and hazelnut are also great options in my opinion. Santini has a variety of exotic flavors, such as passion fruit, coconut, melon, and chestnut.
