This year, the Oscars will be held on March 27th at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles (United states). The Oscars are a celebration of movies and those who took part in making them any way possible, from actors and writers to hair and makeup artists. It gives everyone involved a chance for their work to be recognized and deeply appreciated. This year, it is the 94th celebration of the Oscars Award Celebrations since it began in 1929.
There are a total of 23 categories, which are: Actors in a leading role, Actors in a supporting role, Actress in a leading role, Actress in a supporting role, Animated Feature Films, Writing (adapted screenplay), Best Picture, Directing, Cinematography, Documentary (feature), Visual Effects, Music (Original Song), Costume Design, International Feature film, Writing (original screenplay), Documentary (Short subject), Makeup and Hairstyling, Production Design, Short Film (Live action), Film Editing, Music (Original score), Short Film (animated) and finally Sound.
There are many categories which are included in a live broadcast, however if all these categories are included it would be too long so those are excluded from life and are later shared with the public.
