Scarlett Johansson takes Disney to Court

Scarlett Johansson, North American actress known worldwide
sues Disney Studios in Los Angeles court.
The long-awaited film Black Widow, starring the aforementioned
actress, who was initially planned to be released in May 2020,
finally had its debut on July 8, 2021.
The film was released simultaneously in theaters and on the platform
Disney Plus streaming service, with an extra charge to subscribers of
€21.00. Thousands of fans chose to pay the fee and watch the movie on their homes.
However, in Disney's contract with Johansson was established that the release of Black Widow would be exclusive to the cinemas, with the salary linked to these revenues. Due to the alleged breach of contract, the actress took the matter to court in July 2021.
Disney Studios counterattacked, arguing that Scarlett received $20 million for his participation in the film. Scarlett is being represented by John Berlinski and Disney by Daniel Petroscelli.
Johansson had support from some members of the film industry,
like Jamie Lee Curties, Elizabeth Olsen and Jason Blum.
Now, fortunately, both Scarlett and Disney have settled to an agreement.
