Let’s look ahead to this year’s new thrilling releases that are worth your attention. After the release of long-awaited “Marty Supreme” in 2025, which was full of new experimentational film techniques we are waiting for even more new films that can inspire and change entertainment industry trends.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2”- This movie has been in the spotlight ever since it came out, but after almost 20 years, 20th Century Studios has announced that on May 1st we will be able to see the reunification of Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt in a story where a senior Miranda Priestly navigates the decline of print media, battling her former assistant, now a high-powered rival executive, Emily Charlton. The story is focused on Miranda’s struggle to keep Runway relevant, needing advertisements from a luxury group that is now run by her former assistant, Emily. It is set nearly two decades after the original, with themes of aging, industry shifts, and power dynamics.

“The Hunger Games - Sunrise on the Reaping” - This sequel will also continue, but this time the release will focus on the 50th Hunger Games, which took place 24 years before Katniss Everdeen's, and will follow a young Haymitch Abernathy. Stars appearing in the show are Joseph Zada, Jesse Plemons, and Jennifer Lawrence.

“Fantastic Beasts 4” - The Wizarding World saga continues after just 3 years, likely focusing on the legendary duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. No official date yet, but production is reportedly underway. It is expected to be announced by late 2026.

“The Cat in the Hat” Upcoming in 2026 November 2026, an American computer-animated musical film produced by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Dr. Seuss Enterprises. Harold learns that he has a lot to learn about real life.
