30 minutes away from home

You hug me from the back and open your door.

I felt the butterflies.

Or was it just the stress coming out?

I wonder when I might stop thinking about you.

Memories are flooding my head.

Memories of you driving till the end

Till the end of your street

Where we would meet

A kiss on the forehead

A goodnight note

30 minutes away from home I will be

Remembering all the memories we made

Thinking that it ended again.

Am I dreaming.

Is this all just a fantasy?

I created this world.

Where life is perfect

Where I am living all our memories over again

Hopefully this is all true

Telling your friends to go home.

Dinner with your family

Me in a pink dress

Focusing on nothing but you

Is this just a wish?

A wish that this will never end.

I will stay 30 minutes away from home.

With you holding my hand

finding our way through the stars in the sky
