Image 1 (Hathaway, 2020) Covid has been hard on many people. You probably just want to go back to school to be with your friends, enjoy spending time with your teachers and playing sports like football on the court, and spend time away from your parents who are constantly nagging you about being on your phone during class. Well, hopefully we will get that soon, but just in case we don't, don't worry, I have to cure both your distress and your boredom.

A Happiness class from Yale University is now available for free on Coursera! This class is called "The Science of Well Being" and is taught by Laurie Santos, a psychology professor at Yale. The course aims to make people not only feel better, but also to provide them with long-term satisfaction. Students are asked to monitor their sleep habits, keep a gratitude journal, perform acts of kindness, and keep track of whether these activities correspond with a positive shift in their overall mood over time, according to the Coursera program, which was adapted from one taught by Dr. Santos at Yale. You will learn how to build more productive habits by studying how to mind leads us to negative thoughts and the research that can help us change.
It takes about 19 hours to complete and is completely online, so you can learn on your own time. Multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese, can be used to teach the course. The syllabus is rated 97 percent accurate, and you will devote 1 hour each week for the next 10 weeks to videos, readings, and a mini quiz at the end of each class to prepare for the final 2-hour assignment in the last week. You will receive a certificate and have formally required the skills of satisfaction, appreciation, reflection, and savoring if you pass this final assignment.
Why don't you join the 3,391,840 others who have already signed up? After all, it's totally free and takes place entirely online, with a versatile timeline that allows you to do it whenever you're bored. What are the chances? It has the power to enhance your life. Knowing and knowing what happiness is and how to achieve it is an ability that will serve you well not only in school but in your life. Life is unfortunately harsh, and it is important to learn to cope with obstacles in a constructive manner. Your emotional well-being should always come first!
