On the 25 of February, Elden Ring, the new FromSoftware game, came out. The game is based on the famous Dark Souls series, the reason why it is receiving such a great attention is the fact that it’s a open world game were the users can explore the world without restraint. Elden rings is a triple-A game and as such cost 60 euros, which is standard for recent triple games and according to many reviewers it would take along sixty hours to complete fully, which is quite high considering that open world games normally take thirty hours max. Even though it is an open world, Elden Ring still suffers from the features from the Dark Souls games, it is said that its level of difficulty is considerably high meaning its major target audience would be the hardcore gamers or loyal buyers to the dark souls like games. The game also keeps classes, though they do not have such a large effect on the player as they did on other games as Elden rings has reduced the number of classes available to the player significantly if one compares it to other FromSoftware game. The game also is inspired by Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a game which has revolutionized open world games, which does not mean the game is unoriginal, the map is divided into various sections which each have different difficulties that allow the player to received appropriate rewards in those said sections. The game is already out on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
