COVID-19 round up

During this horrible pandemic we have seen many positive people that, either recovered, or... went to a better place. It is true that even if, every day in the news they say how many cases and deaths that day, it is always hard to do a sum of everything.

Globally:

Cases:

As you can see from the picture above the total confirmed cases around the world, adds up to 424.5 MILLION cases. That is a LOT! There are so many people that have gotten covid, that it seems almost impossible! Now 424.5 million is a lot of people, but there are 7.9 BILLION people in the world, so only percentage got covid. If you still did not get covid, it is not for sure that you will, like the other 7.5 billion people living on this planet.

Deaths:

The same thing applies for deaths! In the entire world, from the start of covid, 5.8 million cases have been recorded to have died because of covid. This is again, a lot of people. Looking at the graph above, that tiny red slit is the deaths compared to the cases. This means that 418.7 million people got covid and recovered. When you look at the single people it seems like a lot, but when you look globally it is actually a small percentage.

Portugal:

Cases:

In Portugal there has been 3,250,409 confirmed cases. This is not completely exact, because some people did not do a test when they were positive, and if they recovered, no one would know that they were positive, so this is for sure not accurate.

Deaths:

21,039 people have died because of covid in Portugal.

So, these are the deaths and cases of the world and Portugal.
