Coronavirus vaccine side effects

During the history of humankind, there has never been a vaccine developed and created in such a short period of time. But the coronavirus vaccine exceeded humans' imagination. Compared with the old process of more than seven years to develop a new vaccine, this time, the best scientists in the world have only taken about a year to develop this new vaccine. So, should the public be concerned about vaccines long-term problems or its side effects?

Firstly, people with allergies should be aware about the coronavirus vaccination. The justification for this argument is what is currently happening in Great Britain and the United States: some health workers took the vaccine, then, they had anaphylactic reaction or allergic reaction, which can bring to some harmful consequences. These symptoms include (but not limited to):rash over face, shortness of breath and heart rate elevation. Therefore, people with allergies should ask doctors about their suggestion (if they should take a vaccine or not), with doctors’ recommendation or permission, they can take it and reduce the risk of anaphylactic reaction to a minimum number.

Secondly, since the coronavirus vaccine’s long-term effect has not yet been evaluated, people who have already taken the vaccine or are going to take the vaccine should be aware about potential long-term problems. For example, we do not know if this vaccine is going to weaken our immune system or not. Additionally, what kind of health problems this vaccine may bring to us.

Finally, it is extremely tricky to define some side effects of the coronavirus vaccination, because only a tiny percentage of people have taken vaccines. Although data from different countries illustrated that there are not many side effects at the moment, as more and more different people are going to take vaccines, we still need to consider side effects of vaccines wisely.

In conclusion, the coronavirus vaccine is a light in the darkness, but it does not mean that our awareness and self precaution to Covid-19 should end. We still need to be extremely careful about potential negative impact from coronavirus vaccines and other Covid related issues.
