· How did you learn to cook?
By watching many different cooking videos, but also by following recipe books. I’ve always loved cooking and, when I was younger, I used to do cooking contests with my friends.
· What do you love the most about cooking?
I love the creativity behind it. I really like how we can create something edible with our own ideas, by personalising it, for example: we can add different colours and decorations. We can create new dishes by using our imagination. I also like how cooking can be a really fun activity to do with family and/or friends.
· What is your favourite dish?
I don’t have a favourite dish, but if I could only pick one, it would be cupcakes!
· Are there any recipes you want to share for the newspaper article?
Yes, I’m going to share the recipe for AMAZING chocolate chip cookies. I really enjoy making these cookies and find it quite easy to make.
Here is the recipe:
Chocolate Chips Cookies
For: 15 cookies
Total time: 15 min
Preparation: 5 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Ingredients:
250 grams of Flour
90 grams of Brown sugar
1 sachets of vanilla sugar
1 pinch of salt
1/2 of baking powder
1 egg
125 grams of softened butter
2 teaspoons of honey
Chocolate (as many as you want)
Steps 1- Mix the flour with the sugars (brown sugar and vanilla sugar), the salt and the baking powder in a big bowl. 2- Melt the butter 3- Add the beaten egg and the 2 teaspoons of honey 4- Incorporate everything into the preparation. 5- Add the chocolate and mix 6- Preheat your oven to 220 ° C with the rack at the lowest 7- Form the cookie batter into a round shape and place them on a baking sheet. They should be spaced enough apart. 8- Bake them for 9 to 11 minutes, depending on whether you want them “extra-soft, soft or crispy-soft” 9- Let them cool down for some minutes 10- Enjoy the cookies!
