1. What cinema did you see the film? Who were you with?

I watched it at the NOS cinema in CascaiShopping with my mom and little brother.

2. What positives can you say about the film?

It was very well filmed, and the effects on the movie were fantastic looking as well. Cat Woman was acted very well by Zoë Kravitz, and overall got a lot of character development throughout the movie.

3. Are there any negatives that you would like to address?

Overall, the movie felt like it stretched on and on, I think that honestly the plot had the potential to be well enough portrayed in a lot shorter of a duration than it was (3 hours).

4. What would you like to say about the Matt Reeves' direction?

As mentioned earlier, the plot and characters were all quite good, but again the movie just felt like it went on and on.

5. What was your impression of Robert Pattinson's interpretation of Batman/Bruce Wayne?

I think that in terms of looks it was quite good, however personality wise he was very cold and overall could have been a bit more lighthearted.

6. Apart from Robert Pattinson, are there any other actors in the film that you would like to talk about?

Zoë Kravitz’ interpretation of Cat Woman was honestly amazing; she was portrayed exactly how I thought that her character would be.

7. What three words would you use to describe this version of Gotham?

(Slightly) eerie, cold-looking, big.

8. How did the music by Michael Giacchino add to the tone of the film?

It definitely complemented the movie very well overall, and added a great effect to each scene.

9. What Batman villain would you like to see on screen next and who should play them (Poison Ivy, Mr Freeze, for example)

Joker, definitely, and I think he was well played by Joaquin Phoenix in the Joker movie!

1. If The Batman was an IB assessment, what grade would you give it out of 8 and why?

Probably a 7. The cinematography was excellent, and I generally think the only thing that could’ve been better was the fact that the plot stretched on for too long, though it wasn’t unbearable.
