Death Noteis a Japanese manga written at the end of 2003 by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, later made into an anime series in 2006. It tells the story of Light Yagami, a brilliant teen who discovers the Death Note. This note gives the bearer the ability to kill whoever’s name is written on it. Light attempts to use the Death Note to carry out a global massacre of people he considers sinful and be the creator of a new world free of any immoral individuals. Death Note is a series that is completely worth watching. The visuals are usually dark as if the scenes always take place under a somber sky, or at night, or under dim lights. All of the characters are superbly well written and each one of them has an objective to achieve. The plot is captivating and urges the reader to figure out what justice is, despite the fact that none of the character’s actions are right or wrong.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K is a manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Aso and adapted into an anime in 2016. It talks about a high school student, Kusuo Saiki, who’s born with psychic superpowers. He tries to keep it hidden from everyone at school and is placed in several situations that nearly expose his powers. The Disastrous Life of Saiki K is a very humorous series, it's perfect to watch when you need a good laugh. The graphics are very colorful which makes it aesthetically pleasing to watch. Each character has various traits that make them unique and equally entertaining. Putting aside all the jokes, it shows how Saiki, who has all the powers you can dream of, actually thinks he’s the most unlucky kid on the planet, and it makes you think; anything that can be helpful can also be a burden. I 100% recommend this series and hope you’ll enjoy it too.

Your Lie In April (Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso) is a romance manga written and illustrated by Naoshi Arakawa, and later on, adapted into an anime series. It tells the story of a piano prodigy who loses the ability to hear himself play after his mother's death. However, meeting a free-spirited girl who plays the violin changes his life. Your Lie in April is a really depressing anime; if you can't hold back the tears, pack some tissues because you are in for a journey. Aside from that, the story includes so many entertaining incidents that you are bound to like it. Every character has a background, and some of them you may even relate to. The graphics are enjoyable with everything well detailed and artistically pleasant. This series is very popular, and its intro song— Hikarunara by Goose House, is even more popular. Personally, I love this series and recommend you watch it soon.
